In 1869 Heinrich Boker began its operations in Solingen, Germany, which would turn out to be an internationally known brand, maintaining a solid reputation of producing quality cutlery. Simply stated, 145 years is quite an accomplishment that few can hang their hats on. The entire staff of Boker, on three continents, are proud to be a part of this tradition and the symbol of quality… the Chestnut Tree logo.

To celebrate this milestone, Boker will produce a very special limited edition series of our most popular knives, all of which will be limited to only 145 pieces worldwide. All patterns will come with our very special Grenadill wood scales and nickel silver bolsters and liners. The scales will be highlighted with an exquisite sterling silver emblem showing the years 1869-2014. The blades will be high polished and carry a unique laser engraved 145 year anniversary logo.
